South Africa and Pakistan first met on a cricket pitch during the 1992 World Cup in Australia with South Africa winning a rain curtailed match by 20 runs. They met 3 years later in a Test match and have been playing T20 internationals against each other since 2007.
In December 2019, Pakistan are set to tour South Africa for a 2 month long series that will feature 3 Test matches followed by 5 ODIs and ending with 3 T20 internationals. The series will continue till the first week of February.
