Shoaib Malik is a former Pakistani cricketer and was the captain of Pakistan Cricket Team. Since childhood, he had a passion for playing cricket and had disputes with his family because they were not in support of cricket. They wanted him to focus on his education. He was coached by Imran Khan and began as a batsman, but he started his career as an off-break bowler. He is considered as one of the best all-rounders in Pakistani team. In the past, he has been successful in Test matches as an opener. His middle-order batting style has often made him the game-changer in limited over.
He is a run-maker and flexible player who can adjust himself on the crease and can handle the gaming pressure. He has made a total of 1700 runs in T20, which is the highest for a Pakistani player in T20. In 2015, he announced his retirement from Test Cricket. Currently, he is the captain of PSL team of Multan Sultan. He holds a record of being the first male cricketer who has played 100 T20I. He divorced Ayesha Siddhiqui from Hyderabad and married Sania Mirza, an Indian Tennis player.
