Francis Ndege Otieno is a former Kenyan cricketer. Despite making a debut in the senior team in the years 1999-2000, he made his ODI debut only in the year 2010. On July 1, 2010, this talented cricketer made his ODI debut against Ireland, in the 2nd match of the ICC World Cricket League Division One at Rotterdam. He played for Kenya in the year 2010 as an opening batsman. He has played in four ODIs matches in his career. He played his last ODI against Canada at Schiedamon on July 10, 2010. He has represented Kenya in the Africa Cup at Namibia in 1997.
He has played for the domestic team Coast Pekee. His dedication and hard work for the game of cricket is reflected on the field when he plays. He also Captained U-19 team in the U-19 Youth World Cup in 1997. In November 2007, he replaced the East African cricketer Sam Walusimbi, as the coach of the national team of Uganda and that interrupted his playing career. In till July 2008, Otieno was replaced by South African cricketer Barney Mohamed.
