This Bangladeshi player is specialized as a left-arm fast bowler who has taken the most wickets and made history by taking 13 wickets in a 3-match ODI series in 2015. Rahman played U-19 Cricket World Cup in the year 2014 and picked up 9 wickets in six matches. The player made his international debut against Pakistan in a one-off T20 match where he picked up two veteran Pakistani batsmen’s wickets Shahid Afridi and Mohammad Hafeez in 2015. He made his Test debut against South Africa where he picked up 4 wickets.
Rahman became the first player who won the title of ‘Man of the Match’ award on both Test as well as One Day International debuts. Mustafizur is also the first Bangladeshi bowler who took five wickets in the history of T20 World Cup after taking five wickets against New Zealand. In the 2016 edition, he took a total of 9 wickets in three matches and was named the ICC Emerging Cricketer of the Year. In April 2018, he was one of ten cricketer players who awarded a central contract by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) ahead of the 2018 season.
